And just for you (it is a great song, I love the made up rhymes):

Wow, that's a trip down memory lane Harpa, thank you! I'm out of +1's I give that +1000!

At 33 seconds in the video, that car lift on the mountain is Mount Cranmore in North Conway, NH. My grandparents took me on that when I was a kid, good memories! Also the US Constitution, Cape Cod and Plymouth. I believe the closing shot is the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods NH looking out over the mountains.

I was watching an old episode of Cops last night on Spike, one of the people was wearing that t-shirt.

Harpa, here's that Mount Cranmore ski-lift from the top looking down.

I have been known to roll down the windows in the California sun, blast "New England" and sing my little Yankee heart out.

Jonathan Richman is great, but if you see him perform, he says "I don't do the old stuff."

He is a man of his word, he wrote that if he would get a girlfriend, then he would become a folk singer, and when he got a girlfriend, he did just that.

Where did they go?

In NY he went to bemelmans bar which looks really really cool. Then he went to a couple places with the guy that created momofuku, which is cool because I've actually been to the one in Toronto. They went to crif dog and the attached PDT which Bourdain said was pretty much impossible for "normal" people to get into.

Did they eat crack pie?

There are a lot of secret restaurants in NY. I haven't really been to them, I have been to two speakeasys... There are all sorts of places where you have to, for instance, go through the "Employees Only" door etc., to get to the real deal. There are also some places with no sign and no number, and you have an invitation or something to get in. One I wanted to go to was called the milk bar, maybe? I haven't checked in on it in a while, but I think it opened up. Then there are the exclusive places that have waiting lists forever, except if you are a fancy boy then they let you in. I like food, but all that is a lot of work. I checked PDT on yelp, and it seems some normals have gotten in there ;)

Yeah the bartender said it possible to get in during the early part of the week. I didn't hear about crack pie. They went to a speak easy in LA but I don't remember what it was called. They also went to a burlesque house called Jumbo's Clown Room that looked pretty fun.

Tony mentioned there were lots of hidden places in NY. One of the burger places they went to was a little like that. They also stayed in Manhattan except for one in Queens. Here's where he went or at least mentioned:
