I've got G's back on this one.

Magnets are polar; positive and negative. Opposites and also part of a whole.

In revelations Jesus says "I am the Alpha and the Omega" or the 'beginning and the end'. Polar opposites as part of the whole.

Ipso facto~ God = Magnets and by the transitive properties, Magnets = God.

How'd I do?

Perfect

...and this is my new bed spread....

Also perfect.

Yay, Merry Christmas, Teddy, and all you losers and rumpswabs! I am flying back to LA tomorrow, and have been able to partake of birch beer, white clam pizza, fried scrod, clam chowdah and all the foods of God's Own Country. I miss it here. :( Each time I come home it makes it harder to go back to LA. Where they don't even have any decent goddamn pizza!

Now I know where all this warm weather came from. Don't leave Maves, I'm digging 60 degrees in December!

Forgot to mention my mom cornered Mr U and asked him why he hadn't proposed yet. Mr U's response was that he had no reason, except that he believed I didn't want to get married any time soon. (Correct.)

Poor Mr U. :( Mother Maven is somewhat terrifying. (F)

There is a good possibility that our situation may have us moving back to the US this calendar year.

I need to know the best city to live in and why...please, your helpful thoughts are appreciated.

Wow -- already?

We can better tailor recommendations if we hear what's important to you.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Depends on what you're looking for. Why so soon, you allergic to egg rolls?

What sort of climate are you looking for? Any particular industry?

What sort of climate are you looking for? Any particular industry?

After I left my old company a competitor approached me to consult on a couple of projects in Asia and here in China. My own business was picking up slowly but I had time and so I agreed. It turns out that the owner is turning 65 this year and he's been running this small but successful service business for over 20 years and he's had enough. He's got no family interested or qualified to take it over and he's asked me if I wanted it. It's only about 20 employees spread out around the world with a small head office in Milwaukee. Adding his client base to the small one I've developed here over the last year will be a big bump for me. It makes sense for us to move back to handle the transition and the much larger service area (US, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Taiwan and China). Eventually I would relocate the office if necessary but I would not need to be there full time.

Also, since the little Operator arrived my wife isn't as career driven and wants to actually raise her boy. Eventually she'll want to go back to work (marketing) so we need to end up in fairly metropolitan area and since she is cold blooded she requires warmth from the environment. If it were just me I would buy a cabin in Jackson Wyoming and call it good but...

She's lobbying for $an Franci$co, which is certainly not the bottom of my list...I would like to be near a hub airport. Good school system, a little culture but ready access to the outdoors. Denver is my vote but she isn't in love with it. Any thoughts on cities in AZ or NM?

...and no Teddy no egg roll allergies but I have developed a craving for fish head soup and I've forgotten how to drive.

i'm a huge fan of Irving, Texas,

as

1. DFW airport is right there

2. South Irving Cheap to purchase 1.4 to 2.5 acre spreads in town

3. Huge Chinese Community

4. Excellent Asian Markets in town

5. Texas has no state income tax

6. Dead easy to set up a company, even online with the state comptroller's office

7. Warm 10 months out of the year.

8. The illegal aliens are moving out of Texas, they cannot find 'regular' work

9. EVERY one of the Fortune 500 has an office in North Irving.

10. North Irving full o culture.

I lived there for 2 years, would live there again.
