Oh, and I forgot to mention for the benefit of the old-timers, I am meeting up with mox, former thorn in the side to several ex-RUB dudes, next week. I keep trying to get him to come back to VJ but now that his foils have all split, there's little draw for him. :( I can report that he and his wife are still together and happy as clams.

Give Mox my very best, please. Would be good to hear from him, by any method.

Tell him that the RUB forum is nothing like previously.

Thank you. He is good sized and considering he was three weeks early he could have been a lot bigger.

Sleep is over-rated...kind of.

FWIW, despite my taste for finer things, I usually end up drinking this:

Cheap..... Lower calories....... works. I've honed my drinking method so perfectly for 4% alcohol beer that if I substituted liquor, I'd probably die.

I've drank Miller Lite for over 30 years, not exclusively, but it's been my "go to beer" for most of my adult life. But as of last month, I've given up on lite beer altogether. I have become immune to the lower alcohol content over the years so I end up drinking more and in turn spending more time giving it back in the bathroom. I figure I'll drink less, pee less and spend less if I simply drink regular beer. I have been drinking Miller High Life, for the past few weeks and it seems to be a good improvement. The amount of beer I'm drinking is down along with the trips to the bathroom and I've got a few more bucks in my pocket as well.

But mostly end up drinking this:

I like Rolling Rock, it's one of the first beers I ever had when I was growing up. I think Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz and Schaefer are good beers as well. I think these older beers get a bad rap simply because kids don't want to drink what their fathers and grandfathers used to drink. I like the old time beers, they have good flavor and are usually cheaper than the more popular brands.

Good looking boy Operator! Congrats to you and the Mrs!

Thanks Teddy, he's pretty darn cute.

I went to the US Embassy today for the American Citizen Services visa hour and a CO gave me the scoop on how to work dual citizenship. The Chinese don't allow it but it really isn't that hard, amazingly the US embassy here will give a pro-forma visa to a US citizen with a Chinese passport which effectively keeps Chinese passport control from catching dual citizens.

I was amazed at how helpful the guy was.
