Simple question....I called the NVC to get our KEV# but have not received the actual documentation from the NVC with that same number. My fiancee has scheduled her medical exam in a week and a half. Does she only need the KEV# or is some sort of document with the actual number printed on it required? Thank you!

I don't have your answer not knowing about the specific medical center and its requirements, but the answer should be on the medical center's website.

Hi...I am from Ukraine too and we have got out noa2 on 9th of May...so you already get you new number in NVC? because we are just thinking to call them

and as I know here for medical we need just this number...she can call this place where we will do this medical and ask them what else she need but I think only number

I've read that they sometimes request a paper with the number on it, sometimes they just allow you to tell them the number. Some people just say to make up a letter with the number on it and bring it and that works. They do not seem to need the official paper, just something with the number on it. You should receive the paper from the NVC by then though so just scan and email it to her and have her print it out and bring it and that would be safest.

Frankie...You just need the number for the medical, but you need the letter for the interview.

You do not need the letter for the interview. You just need the number in order to schedule it online. For the interview you just need the printout of the receipt pages for DS-160 and scheduling system.

Don't know. Nowhere does it say that they require the letter from the NVC. Nobody asked us for the letter. They only asked for things that it says are required in their PDF.

we got NVC letter where was the kev number. and so far for the medical you DO ask to show kev number, they dont care as for if it's official paper from NVC or not, I showed scanned letter from NVC on medical in Kyiv, but some girls were showing print screens from tracking page with NVC number. so just print it out and thats it, they ask for it not cos they want official paper, but cos they do not want to make errors in papers during medical. it's all less stressed than it seems! good luck!

K-1 timeline:

11-07-2013 - I-129F form sent ---> 11-15-2013 - NOA1 - e-mail received, transferred to California Service Center.

11-20-2013 - Alien registration number changed.

11-22-2013 - NOA1 hardcopy (I-797C)

12-13-2013 - NOA2 approval notification ---> 12-20-2013 - NOA2 hardcopy

01-08-2014 - NVC recieved ---->01-09-2014 - NVC left

01-13-2014 - Consulate recieved ----> 01-14-2014 - E-mail from the Consulate
