The old Texas leg touch, it's right up there with the rusty trombone and the dutch rudder...

I wish I knew what the heck that meant - now I gotta do some google-fu... Curses !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

People are going to a restaurant to eat not to make out. I don't care what kind sexual orientation they are, if they are start act inappropriate, the rules must be obey.

The men went to eat at Big Earls Restaurant in Pittsburg for breakfast Tuesday morning. They said they enjoyed their food, paid for their meals, but its what the waitress said on their way out that ruined the whole experience.

Collin Dewberry, who was leaving with his partner, said the waitress told them they do not serve a certain type of person at that restaurant. The word she used was derogatory and targets homosexuals.

...

They explained that the waitress then recited the following phrase: Here at Big Earls we like for men to act like men and for ladies to act like ladies, so we want you to never return.

They had eaten, paid, and had no idea they had done anything wrong.

...

Big Earl said it was their behavior, touching legs, that was against policy, not their sexual orientation.

I didnt go over there to inspect to see what he was rubbing. Thats just not appropriate in a family restaurant that has a sign on the front door that we just dont do that here, Earl Cheney, the restaurant owner, said.

All hearsay. Wondering if they are seeking a court case?

Yall missing some great music. I think Al Sharpton put it best when asked about people still loving M. Jackson. He said Paraphrase-Well the nation still loves Elvis and look at all the weird ####### he did and married a child. You have to look past sometimes and just enjoy the music without thinking of what the person who created it did .

Sex in the Kitchen

Bump and Grind

I believe I can fly

Ignition the Re-mix ( one of the best ever)

In the name of love

In love with a Thug

Here's my take on it, and I think Janelle has somewhat of the same view. The difference between MJ and Kells:

MJ had no childhood. He's been singing and dancing since he was 5. I think this is why he was looked as a big kid and had all those sleepovers. Now, if he did molest any child, he should have had his butt thrown in jail forever. But, in his case, he came on tv, proclaimed his innocence, said his piece, and went back to making music. He settled out of court and kept it moving. That could be an admission of guilt or it could be how they do business when you're that high up. There were accusations, but never any hard proof(from what I seen, if someone has something I'd like to see it) so for most folks it could go either way. This is why you can (sort of) get behind him and his music. That reasonable doubt is there, so it protects him to a point.

Kells, on the other hand, has had "issues" with little girls for almost 30 years now. It was something that was largely ignored because no one put the puzzle together until recently. This is why when he had the #AskRKelly session, they roasted him:

But what did it for me was this article written on him: http://blogs.villagevoice.com/music/2013/12/read_the_stomac.php

That's when I started to put it together in my head. Marrying a 15 year old girl, songs that talk about age ain't nothing but a number or asking for an ID beforehand, the video tapes, the stories about him going back to his old school and targeting the Sophomore class(in some cases, Freshman too), and even now with Black panties and other songs he's made, he's bragging about it. Telling you not only did he do it, but he's STILL doing it, and you can't stop him. He's waving it in our faces and folks are buying it up. It's horrifying to read about the girls that tried to kill themselves after messing with him, getting abortions and other stuff I can't even get into here.

I read somewhere that people can separate the artist from the deeds they do in their personal lives. This is why drug addicts and abusers get a pass in Hollywood. But in the Pied Piper's case(another nickname he gave himself, which says volumes) you can't because he's like that in real life.

Come on. Some of the most creative people in history have had decrepit personal lives. This should not deny their talent.

No one is denying their talent, just not promoting that person. He is talented agreed, but I just can't put my support behind someone like that. He has no respect for girls, women, himself, parents, the law, I cannot and will not support this type of behavior. And if this means depriving myself of enjoying his talent, so be it.

I hear what you are saying. I despise Child Molesters also. However you can't rationalize MJ and condemn R Kelly. Maybe you don't like him cause he is black

So by that self same token, you don't read Baudelaire or Socrates? You ignore Jerry Lee Lewis and The Rolling Stone, for example? Such censorship will deplete you of a rich life, IMHO .

I read this because of school.

I am not a Jerry Lewis and Rolling Stone fan.

There are plenty of other people I can listen to, read and support, that has just as equal great work and do not go around molesting children.

And if they are but it hasn't come out in public, I can live with this. But for it to be publicly known and I still support them is unacceptable.

I cannot be a mother and accept someone that rapes and molest children. That is an oxymoron, mixed matched and hypocritical. A mother should be a protector of her children. To condone someone else doing bad things to other children should be against our nature.

I'm not. MJ got accused and was found not guilty. Did he do it? We'll never know. If he did, he deserves whatever punishment he gets. I love kids myself, have 3 boys and work well with them. That doesn't make me a child molester. There's tons of solid proof that R Kelly is a serial offender. It's all he talks about. Check out the Black Panties CD cover. That girl can't be older than 16.

That is R. Kelly in a sentence. It's a shame others can't see this.

Restricting what you listen to, read or watch in films based on whether you approve of the person who created the art or literature is a strange thing to do. You are not approving of their personal behaviour just because you listen to a song, read a book or watch a film. I have to compare this to the churches who burn books, it's shortsighted and misguided to believe that people who like art that is produced by people who have less than perfect personal lives means that they approve of any of the personal behaviours and yes, the world would be an extremely impoverished place artistically if we start do to that.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
