Greetings,

I sent my package on May 8, 2014 using Express service. On May 9, I tracked the package and got the following info:

Your item was delivered at 11:27 am on May 9, 2014 in LEWISVILLE, TX 75067 to USCIS. The item was signed for by K COLTRIN.

Its now May 29, and my checks haven't been cashed, nor have I received any NOA from USCIS.

Frankly speaking, I'm not in any rush but I'm still really concerned about what happened to my application. I was looking at the time line of everyone, and they usually cash the check within 14 days.

Let me know if there's anything I can do.

Thanks!

It would help if we knew what sort of package you are talking about. You posted in the US citizenship forum, your profile says ROC pending, but the Tx lockbox is for fiancé visas.

So what are you applying for?

I'd be a bit concerned...are you sure you didn't file too early? Are filing based in 3yr/USC Spouse or 5yr residency?

It would help if we knew what sort of package you are talking about. You posted in the US citizenship forum, your profile says ROC pending, but the Tx lockbox is for fiancé visas.

So what are you applying for?

Texas lockbox takes citizenship applications too

Even if you call they will tell you that it can take them up to 30 days to process your application/cash your check. So maybe wait a little more. I would try to call anyway. Personally if after 30 days nothing is happening I would cancel the check and resend the application, but that may cause more harm than good if they find your first file.. Im sure its frustrating but give it 30 days for now.

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

If his resident since date is 8/4/11 then his 90-day window was 5/6/14 so he's fine.. I'm just assuming though based on his signature
