Good morning all! This is my first post here but so far I have found tons of valuable information. I have two questions.

1. I've been compiling my K-1 visa package without the help of a professional immigration lawyer using the guidelines from this site. I have all of these documents and supporting docs listed but before I send it off I want to make sure that there isnt anything else I need. Am I good to go as long as I have all of the requirements that are posted on the K-1 guide or is there something else that could assist my package to go through quicker?

2. Everything I have seen so far has my Service Center listed at the Lewisville Texas drop box. Do I have a choice of which center I can send the petition to? Or is this drop box the only option?

Thanks in Advance for all of your help!

This is the only lock box sorting facility for petition I-129F.

Not sure if you know this, but the Texas Service Center is NOT the Lewisville TX lock box. Lewsiville is a sorting facility for petitions, Lewsiveville is your FILING location, your service center is in a different location than the lock box. These are not the same.

Your case will be forwarded to CSC or TSC. Not transferred.

You will either go to TSC or CSC, you don't have a choice in the matter however, it usually sorts depending which state your'e in. east coast goes to TSC and West coast goes to CSC, from what I've seen.

Agreed with sweetswinks. The Dallas,Texas Lockbox is where you mail your I-129f packet to, NOT to ANY service center.

What you do have are 2 address options, depending on your choice of delivery service: http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f-addresses

For U.S. Postal Service:

USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS
Attn: I-129F
2501 South State Highway 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

Edit: As for assembling your packet, the VJ guide is more than sufficient for a petition application not to get a RFE. If you have followed the tips in the guides as you've said, you actually don't need a lawyer. Also, there is also no quicker or shorter route, unless you have a valid reason for an expedite, such as extreme emergent or humanitarian situations.
