Anyone been transferred to NEBRASKA service centre!?

There's one applicant in the April Filers thread who seems to have been transferred to Nebraska Service Centre. This is very odd, because to my knowledge, only TSC and CSC process 129F applications. Is this a one-off, or does this mean more sharing of workload?

Please can anyone else who has had their file transferred to Nebraska let the forum know, so we can try and figure out what's happening?

18 Sep 2014: NOA2

23 Sep 2014: Case sent to NVC

30 Sep 2014: NVC received + case number generated

06 Oct 2014: Left NVC

08 Oct 2014: Medical exam

09 Oct 2014: Case reached embassy in London

09 Oct 2014: DS-160 and Applicant Readiness form submitted

21 Oct 2014: Interview letter received

29 Oct 2014: Interview --> Approved!

07 Nov 2014: Visa in hand

08 Nov 2014: LHR --> BOS [Finally!!]

I'm not too sure about 129Fs, but I started the May 2014 I-130 thread for CR1 visa applicants and almost all of our petitions have been routed there. Myself and a couple of others pondered whether they were rebalancing workloads after looking at the processing statistics, as Nebraska appears to be the quicker of the service centres. There's nothing on the processing time stats on the USCIS website stating that they now process 129Fs.

the person writing in that thread lists a marriage date in their timeline. they likely filed a I-129F for the K-3 in conjunction with the I-130. from what i have read, the USCIS will process the I-130 and I-129F petitions together. so that explains why someone would have a I-129F (K-3) sent to NSC...because that is where their I-130 is being processed. i bet those 1,400 I-129 petitions you are seeing at NSC are related to K-3 visas....not K-1s.
