K1 June 2014 Filers

But may I call attention to the FACT ...

that your "while most of the June filers are almost done with their interview"...

It appears from looking over the June filers lists... to me to be way wrong.

Yes, a few have made it to the NOA2 level...maybe 1 to interview...

But most are still waiting patiently for the NOA2.

It also appears that there are also some April and May filers which are STILL waiting too for their NOA2.

The process normally takes 5 months for one to receive the NOA2...

Be thankful some are ahead of that 5 month normal time...

I am sure all of us are waiting...but the process is what it is...

Hopefully all will be approved for NOA2 in about 4 months vs normal 5.

Igor's list is not accurate because many people get their NOA2 and do not update their timeline or even reenter the VJ forum. When you look specifically at June filers at CSC the clear majority are approved and now some July filers at CSC are getting approved slowly. The CSC typically processes their files within a couple of months versus several months at TSC.....it may change in the future but as of now everyone that most June filers at CSC are approved. I wish the TSC would speed up for you and I hope everyone's journey is short...the waiting sucks!

Received e-mail a few minutes ago for RFE. Not sure what is requested until I get the letter, maybe by Monday. Can't imagine what can be missing as I re-submitted same things and documents and was previously approved very quickly. God help us.

Do not worry. RFEs are usually much simpler and can be done within days received.

Our NOA1 date is 6/25 and we are at the TSC. I am just wondering if it is a good idea to apply for his Police Certificate prior to receiving news that we are approved?

He has to get one from India and UK as well because he was in UK for a year, and I know stuff in UK takes a while to process. I'm just wary of jinxing the approval ( I know I sound crazy)

Its good to get everything ready because once you are approved the process goes way more faster than expected just get all your documents ready.

Thanks you allfor you support. I got the RFE today...not a big deal but could be...something I had called and written to them about before I filed and was told by two different officers that I did not need as it did not apply to me. Now I am to submit it. Luckily, I already have it and will submit it with the response from them that said It did not apply to me.

To Dohan, on our previous petition, I submitted a copy and even original copies of some documents when I filed the I-129F. That included the police reports as well. So they already had everything when it was sent to the embassy. My fiancee only had to go to the embassy with the medical report. She also had original copies of all documents in case they asked for any. Our I-129F was approved very quickly and the interview was scheduled very quickly as well. Only problem was a wrong date on the I-129F, otherwise my fiancee would have been here already in January.. I did the same thing again this time around and submitted everything except the medical exam which you cannot do ahead of time.

Good luck and God's speed to all. Seems like they moving again in CSC.

I just received an RFE as well.....can't imagined what I missed. All this time waiting for approval and now more delay. Praying for speedy approval after this.

The RFE was for a waiver because I had filed previously and denied. That makes you a multi-filer and you must include a request for waiver in your petition. Apparently, you have to do this if you have filed more than twice in the past, regardless if your petition was for the same person,...something called the IMBRA act of 2005. I had called to ask if I needed to include this waiver and was told it did not apply to me. However, thinking about it since my last post. the people I spoke with may not have had all the information on their screen when they gave me that answer. No problem as I already had written the request and just need to change the date.

So for anyone out there who had previously filed and denied and did not included this and still waiting for NOA2, you might want to send this request in.

I wouldn't worry too much. The way I looked at my situation was that if there had been no RFE, I would have been approved now. So they have pulled your file and that is good news because once they get your RFE and it's good, you're on your way to approval. Good news is that I have not read of anyone denied so far.
