I woke up this morning at 1am with a full blown cold and couldn't breathe out of my nose. For whatever reason I really wanted to check my email.

I saw the email.. read it like 10 times, took a big swig of NyQuil and said... Really? HOLY ######!

Hola to all the June fillers!

I am at this point of waiting to get a notification from the NVC telling us that our case has been transferred to the embassy..I am beginning to feel stressed because its been three weeks since we got our NOA2 and the case was transferred to the NVC…Calling the NVC is an impossible mission as the never answer or you stay on hold and waiting forever. We will probably send an e-mail but…does anyone know a way to contact them? can we speak to the embassy? how long is it normal to wait? They say this part of the process is supposed to go faster….maybe I'm just beginning to freak out again thinking that something might have gone wrong?

I didn't expect everything to be done within 4months, We filed June and now i set my interview next month which is Sept.3rd week. Each of us has our time. Just be patient everyone. God bless;)

hi, 8-10 business days after you received the NOA2 hardcopy , you can now call them. What we did is we called them everyday and after 8 days , they give us our Case number, be patient to wait till someone is going to talk to you. This is their contact #, (603)334-0700. Goodluck

I think I got my NVC letter 3 weeks after NOA2.

Contacting the NVC, via phone, was fairly painless for me, just a long wait time, ~40 min. Person on the phone asked me for my receipt number, told me it had arrived but had not been sent out yet. Asked for a case number and got it.

We finally got the notification from the NVC saying our case was forwarded to the american embassy in spain on august 15th!

In the NVC notification told me (beneficiary) to fill online the DS-160, so i did it yesterday and printed it as i need to take it to the interview.

Now Besided collecting the papers i know they will ask I have to wait to be contacted (i think through mail) by the embassy and follow their instructions. They say its probably going to be straight a letter with and interview date…i don't know though, others say they send a package with stuff to send before the interview. Anyone has an idea?

We finally got the notification from the NVC saying our case was forwarded to the american embassy in spain on august 15th!

Done with my medical and I passed it just last august 29. My interview will be on the 22nd of September! Hooray!

I just received Packet 3 from the US Embassy. We never called NVC, yet it went through in a little less than a month (we got NOA2 on Aug 5th at CSC) I plan to have my interview sometime after September 20th
