K1 June 2014 Filers

Hey guys!

I'm technically a May filer (got NOA1 on May 30th - California Service Center).

I still haven't got NOA2 yet, I've been waiting since 65 days.

It's so annoying and unfair that almost everybody else who filed around my time already got NOA2 or some even have their visa in hand already.

Looking at Igor's list, there are definitely delays at CSC. I see that a bunch of people aren't approved yet (even some March, April and May filers), yet people from the Philippines are still getting expedited no matter what service center they're at.

I'm waiting for NOA2 so impatiently, I check the USCIS website at least 2 times a day.

Good luck yall!

CSC is going to be starting to get those DACA renewals so it is expected based on last time this happened to have huge delays which is why they have been approving at such a fast rate

Hola! We haven't receive the noa2 hardcopy yet, i guess tomorrow but how are you scheduling the interview so soon? is it possible? i think we need to send them a package with some papers still then they reply with the interview date. i am wrong? let me know please! :)

Hey,

Now your file is going to be expedited to the National Visa Center (NVC) and after they register it, they will send it to the US Embassy in your country and they will contact you to let you know what documents you need to bring in for the interview. In Romania, where I live, I will wait for the Embassy to send me a package and then send one back with the DS 160 confirmation and a copy of my passport, and then I ll be able to schedule an interview. Now, what you should do, is probably call the NVC and see where your file is and if u got a number yet or not.

Good luck! You're getting closer and closer to the end of this part of the K1 process. :)

26 JUN 2014: Received NOA1 hardcopy

Thank you so much for your response! :)

in your case status, did it say that your package was being forwarded to the NVC or the embassy? my status says is approved and that they mailed the NOA2…and we will have the instructions to follow there … some people have said that sometimes your case is straight forwarded to the embassy…should i keep expecting updates in the case status of the uscis??

On July 31, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I have a question and I would appreciate a little detail if possible. I have read posts about some getting visas for their fiance(e) to visit the United States. I would like to know what embassies or consulates and how did you apply and what did you have to do or show?

Thanks in advance for your response(s).

Same as the above^

Still waiting on NOA2.

I checked the USCIS website of the cases before and after ours.

The ones filed after ours have been approved and the ones before have not.

HAHA Makes absolutely no sense.
But it's the government, after all, since when did anything they do make much sense?

We filed ours June 6th 2014 and the Alien Registration Number was changed June 13th 2014. TSC approved the petition for fiancé(e) yesterday Aug 4th 2014 and we're just waiting for the NOA2's hard copy. Does NVC require you to send other forms or you have to submit it on the day of the interview?
