How will I know when my RFE review is complete?!

I didn't apply for it. My husband called today to find out what's going on with applications and the person on a phone said that both of us should be present at the time of a call. How stupid is that?!

it is very stupid but that made me laugh!!

03/28/2014 - Married in New York Clerks Office

Adjusting from H1B

5/28/2014 - Sent AOS package
5/30/2014 - AOS Package Delivered
6/06/2014 - Text and email notification received
6/10/2014 - 4 Hard copies of NOA1 received
6/13/2014 - Biometrics appointment letter in the mail

6/17/2014 - Walk-in biometrics at Varick Street
6/27/2014 - Scheduled appointment for biometrics

6/30/2014 - Notification from USCIS, Testing & Interview

8/13/2014 - EAD and AP approved

8/18/2014 - EAD received

10/15/2014 - Interview at New York Federal Plaza and APPROVED email and text at the end of day

10/21/2014 - Green card in the mail

ROC

07/16/2016 - Sent I-751 to VSC

07/18/2016 - Package delivered

07/21/2016 - Check cashed

07/29/2016 - Received NOA1 dated 07/19/2016

08/08/2016 - Biometrics walk-in successful

08/17/2016 - Scheduled appointment for biometrics

07/10/2017 - Approval Letter received dated 07/06/2017

07/20/2017 - Green card in the mail

03/28/2018 - Divorce granted
CITIZENSHIP

07/17/2019 - Sent N400 Online -  5 years residency rule

07/23/2019 - Received NOA for biometrics

08/05/2019 - Biometrics appointment 

09/30/2020 - Interview - Approved

01/13/2021 - Oath Ceremony

01/13/2021 - Applied for passport at USPS

02/02/2021 - Status "In Process" 

02/18/2021 - Passport Received

sorry - not stupid at all - that's due to the Privacy Act of 1974.

What's going on ? He's not the applicant - YOU are. USCIS will not talk with him about this. They will allow him to be on the line IF you are present - so that's a plus.

Want to know more? YOU CALL. Or practice with your husband on making 3 way calls to USCIS - it's allowed [i do it often]

There was no need to be rude and capitalize letters in words. Good for you that you know everything.

03/31/2014 I mailed applications to Chicago lockbox
04/02/2014 Package received by USCIS
04/10/2014 E-notification paperwork received
04/10/2014 Checks cashed
04/14/2014 Hard notice received in a mail
04/18/2014 Biometrics app letter received for 05/12/2014
04/24/2014 Walk-in biometrics done at Port Chester, NY office( no problems at all, very nice people)
04/29/2014 My status online changed to Request for evidence
05/03/2014 got RFE and now status is stuck on Request for evidence response review.
08/26/2014 Status changed to Testing and Interview
08/29/2014 Got an email update interview scheduled for October 1st and paper notice sent out
10/1/2014 HAd our interview at Hartford,CT office. wasnt approved on the spot. 10/3/2014 Got an update that status of I485 changed to Card Production. Then at night changed to Decision. I 130 Post decision activity
10/09/2014 Status changed to Card production We mailed you a new card. You'll receive within 30 days
10/09/2014 Got a tracking number. Estimated delivery 10/11/2014
10/11/2014 Green card in hand!
Whole process took 6 month( thanks to RFE) :)

I-751 Removal of Conditions

9/16/2016 Package sent to USCIS Vermont

9/22/2016 Check cashed

9/24/2016 Notice of Action in the mail dated 9/20/2016

10/2/2016 Received a letter for Biometrics for 10/19/2016

10/14/2016 Early walk-in for biometrics in Port Chester, NY again like last time no problems

This is not good. If you sent the same stuff back and they said it was wrong then it is wrong. Sending it again is the wrong thing to do. I would not be surprised if you get denied for failure to respond properly to RFE.

They never said anything was wrong. The RFE was in review the first time and then they sent a second RFE and I was told this is a regular occurrence

They used to do that to me but for some reason they don't do it anymore

Send exactly only what they ask for ...read & understand it

I know someone got 4 for missing address since 16 yrs

they keep overlooking the fact they were missing a mth on

the first 3 response (LOL they had an atty too)

I sent what they asked for on both occasions. And the second RFE wasn't for additional evidence it was for initial evidence, for the same i864 sponsor issue

Thanks for the advice.... It worked.... Any idea how to approach the situation once they call back? According to the CSR since it has not been 50 days since my RFE has been in review they are going to tell me the same thing he has already told me. Any advice?
