this is what I did to retrieve my passport in the pouch. Idk if I did it right,

That is fine, the plastic bag is of no importance. Only the big envelope marked DO NOT OPEN needs to be protected and not damaged.

Thank you for the answers! ? I just cut the plastic bag using a cutter and got the passport and taped it back. Coz' i was trying to open the whole pouch but its too tight that's why i decided to cut it with a cutter.

The outer plastic you can open and take everything out that is inside, one of the items being your passport. This is perfectly fine and you are supposed to do it. Just do not damage the envelope inside which is to be handed over at your POE. From your picture it looks like you did it right.

They all have a cut corner... normal.

Hi I'm new here at VJ i was checking my case at CEAC it says AP (administrative processing ) last May 27 then change to READY last June 02 status date was updated June 06 and June 07 and there is a text below it says : Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. I called USEM MNL and the lady told me that my case is still in proses. Is anyone here have similar situation? Please help ??
