NVC case number in hand But confused on next steps

Hello everyone,

My fiancé and I have received our noa2 on May 12th. Our case was forwarded to the Lagos consulate on May 22, 2014. I called the nvc and they gave me our LGS number. I started collecting info to send to him via DHL. I'm am compiling every iota of evidence as we speak

1. What do I do next? I want to schedule his interview but I'm getting mixed information. Does he pay GTbank first then I schedule it online or should I be waiting for a letter with interview date?

2. Packet 3 and 4 are they on the website where I find the medical documents and police clearance paperwork ?

3. Does the affidavit of support have to be notarized?

I'm just utterly confused. PLEASE help! I'm getting different information everywhere. I just need info specific to Lagos.

For those who are reading and want to know the steps.

After receiving your case# from NVC you can go to GTB bank and pay Visa fee. You can still schedule your appointment before paying. I think you have like a day or two to enter the payment receipt.

Your package 3 should come via email but you can go to the embassy website and download all forms and get things ready. Police report and such. Medical can't be done until you have interview letter so be sure to print that off.

Although its great to share numbers and information others read this thread and if no information is posted and everything is private and PM's no one learns.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Hey.. My username is owoomobanjo.. Tell you fiancé to call me so I can explain things to him or Email me I we give him my number. My wife also filling for me.

Just wondering why this has to be in private if most of us here are going through the same turnel.

Thank you for your response and I hope this helps someone else! Only other question is where does the interview notification get sent? Is it to your email or via postal mail

The email address you have on your petition. No postal unless there is no email address,

I know you can go and get your interview date than go pay so I would get that date now if you have case#.
