Received EAD Card...AP says Post decision Activity

Hi All,

I received my EAD card with the "serves as I512 advance parole"

Looking at the status online the I131 still says post decision activity and not card production.

My concern here is it says they mailed me notification for advance parole and I haven't received it. I am assuming that the fact I have the combo card means AP and EAD has been approved.

Im about to travel abroad for my job finally and don't want any issues coming back home to my wife.

However, the GC i485 is still highlighted as acceptance. Will be waiting on that one.

You won't get a separate AP card. The combo card you received is both in one.

Post production means it's already approved and sent. That's a good thing. You have AP in your hand on the combo card. Travel.

Your card is the combo card. The "serves as I-512 advance parole" is the AP part of your card.

Agreed with the rest. What you received is your EAD/AP combo card, and it looks like the image posted at the end of this page: http://www.uscis.gov/news/questions-and-answers/uscis-issue-employment-authorization-and-advance-parole-card-adjustment-status-applicants-questions-and-answers

Some people had issues when the combo card first came out. But the new card has been out for years now, so its no longer an issue.

Congrats on getting your EAD/AP card! I am in anticipation of mine as well, so I have been reading a lot (and dreaming :lol: ) about what to expect with the card.

Oh BTW....its not a new job, my company has been very patient...albeit no pay!!

So just green card and driving license to obtain! .....and then lifting conditions in 2 years time.

The timeline on the signature is manually keyed-in: Profile -> Edit profile / Settings -> Signature
