Hello guys!

I am writing this experience to further help others who are about to take theirs in the next few days or months. Visa journey has really helped me and my fiance in finding out the proper documents to collate, next steps to take and queries that bothers us at times. Here's our experience or my experience (being petitioned) in St. Lukes Medical:

Medical Requirements:

Photocopy of Passport biodata (I had 3 copies with me to be sure)

2x2 Photos 4pcs

Visa interview appointment letter from the embassy or NVC

2 copies of appointment letter/instruction letter (I had 3 copies with me to be sure)

Day 1 Medical:

6:30am - Went in

7:00am - Biometrics

7:30am - Payment of medical at 3rd floor

7:45am - Blood/pregnancy test (Make sure you remember your first menstrual period and your last day of menstrual perioud. It will be asked many times.)

8:15am - X-ray

8:50am - Immunization

9:15am - Vital statistics

9:30am - Physical Exam

10:00am - DONE! :dancing:

Day 2 of Medical: Results

I was called to come in at 7:30am but went as early as 6:00am to get parking space. Piece of advice that I wasnt able to do that I would like to tell everyone-- EAT A HEAVY BREAKFAST FOR DAY 2. My golly I waited for 8 hours to get my results! :crying:

6:00am - Went in

6:15am - Guard stamped my receipt "Medical On Process" which means they had me go to Counter A (ground level) to surrender my receipt and wait to be called. Meaning, my results werent ready yet.

10:00am - I got called at immunization room which means I passed! YAY!!! :dancing: I got 2 vaccine shots.

10:30am - Back to Counter A. Another wait.

11:00am - I got called to sign 2 papers. Then wait again.

1:30am - Finally I got called! (I was sooo hungry by this time! The were asking us to have lunch but I didnt want to risk not hearing my name be called.) Got my passport, vaccination records that you'll be bringing with you and a CD which you cant open. You also need to bring that too.

Day 2 was harsh but everything was worth it.

Good luck to those who are taking theirs! :goofy:

Thanks for sharing your experience and great to hear you had a pleasant experience at the medical. All the best!

what time did you show up in line on day 1?

Just remember that the later in the day your fiancee arrives at SLEC, the lines for each test become longer and the place can get crowded too as the day goes. Between 5-6am is a reasonable time to be there. Also, if she is not applying with any kid, try to go on a Thursday / Friday to avoid minors who take the tuberculin skin test. :)

I had the same stamp "Medical On Process"... but I actually didn't go to Counter A because I just have to ask the immunization if I can reschedule the vaccination because of my father's sputum and they said Yes after that I went home... does that stamp means good?
