Still no Notice of Action number 1, 7 weeks after filling I-130... I am freaking out!

By the way what is a priority date? will I get one?

The priority date is really not important, it's what is entered in the USCIS system as the date they have your case. Because you are the wife of a US citizen it's unimportant. On VJ we normally go by "NOA1 date". If you were the wife of a US legal permanent resident it would be important because there are a limited number of visas available for that class of immigrant and when you get the visa depends if your priority date is current. But there is an unlimited number of visas available for US citizen spouses and children.

Like Lakehouse said, you will get an IR1 visa which is good news because you get a 10 year green card when you arrive in the USA instead of a 2 year one like me.

I couldnt talk to him tonight, I work during the day and him during the night... it makes it hard but friday we will call or e-mail because it is not normal we havent had any info on the NOA1 more than 1 month after we filled it... I just feel we have the worst luck on earth! If something can be lost in mail, it will...!

if you received case number ( NOA1 ) by E-mail but not mail then dont worry, your case is now in line waiting to be processed, if did not even receive anything then you must contact USCIS.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Ok we received the NOA1 7th of April 2014 YAY!!!!!!!!! We did not receive any hard paper letter in the mail though, just a receip for the money but we got the case number and it is under Initial Review :) omg I am so happy... thank you guyz for puting up with my endless stress :P
