Very common for Canadians (as I'm sure it is for others)...not exactly a positive, supportive response from you, just saying

Sounds to me like you want to stay in Canada. Why in the world are you going to give up all that good stuff? I mean really, why would anyone give up a good bus system for a man????

Girl - you will be ok, just dont; expect it to be all ok in the first 3 months. You will need to work through some stuff.

- I found a stable job in my field which pays more than I ever could have made back in Canada

- I miss good public transit! After 6+ yrs of driving everywhere with the hubs I am venturing out to get my driver's lic..at the age of 44...wish me luck, you can do it too!

- the culture is just different whatever/ where ever you're from originally. I would encourage you to search for fellow Francophones.

You will visit back home as much as you can and hopefully family comes down to visit too. Social media will help you to feel involved and not miss people.

I too didn't NEED to move to the US but I loved my husband and chose to move here.

I have no doubts at all about my fiance. I love him so much. He's everything that I want in a man.

What I am worried about when I move to the U.S.:

- Finding a stable job that pays the same or better salary than what I am paid now.

- Public transportation that is not as good as my current city

- I don't have a driving license :(

- Different culture... Speaking French (I am from Quebec).

- Missing my family

I have a lot going for me here in Canada, but I want to be with my fiance so bad. I wouldn't do all this if I wasn't 100% sure.
