Appeal denial ok K1 visa

I must admit I don't think anyone will find blood in my body right now, even if they chopped me up. this has to be the worse day of my life... anyways I am told the Denial was because we got engaged before my divorced was finalized and now I am wondering can I appeal it or what my next step should be. anyone please....

The petition was rightfully denied. You were not free to marry at the time of the petition. There is no appeal.

You can re-petition or get married and file a for a CR-1.

let e be clear.... I got engaged in December 212 and the divorce was finalized in June 2013, I filed the petition in October 2013..

Even if you can appeal I have been told it can take up to a year, I advise re-petition or get married and apply for CR-1. Sorry for your denial

The petition was rightfully denied. You were not free to marry at the time of the petition. There is no appeal.

I think there was just an overlap of the relationships, not an improper petition filed. So it means it is covered under lack of bona fide relationship.

Although you were free and clear to marry when u filed, you were not free and clear to marry when u got engaged, which to them nullified the engagement. Just refile. Appealing is a waste of money. Repropose, that will help as well.

I see all replies and do not understand the issue. OP DID NOT GET MARRIED before divorce is finalized. In US divorce may take years and getting engaged is possible before divorce is finalized. If OP got engaged BEFORE divorce is finalized but submitted I 129F after it is finalized I would appeal. For example this is exactly my case. I got engaged before it was Finalized and applied exactly 3 days after it was finalized. It is not against the rules. In fact we disclosed this fact everywhere in the application.From my prospective it is much more kosher than coming here on tourist visa and adjusting like some of the naysayers on this thread do..
