Hi all.

My mother applied to me on 2006 as unmarried son of citizen....

I made my interview and got my green card.

When she applied to me she did to my daughter too.

And now I want my daughter como to live with me on USA.

The problem is that I cannot fill her DS-260 form.

At web site says "not applicable". - she is follow to join

I went to appointment to USCIS and they dont know what to do.

I send emails to NVC and they say to talk to consulate in brazil, and consulate says to contact NVC.

If you could or know anyone else that has the same or had same issue, plesase, reply.

Thank you

When did you get your GC?

I was admited at USA on may 22 (one week ago).

I would like to fill her DS-260 form.

Do you think after I got my green card I gonna be able to fill the form online??

You need to contact the embassy. Fees and aos/civil documents will have to be paid and submitted to them. They can also unlock the DS260 for you.

Apple, thank you very much for your help.
I tried to contact embassy in brazil by email more than ten times. And they just say that I must contact NVC.
Here one of their e-mails asking NVC to take care.
I really don't know who doesn't understand

Good morning, NVC colleagues.

The below mentioned client is trying to fill out the DS-260 and was directed to us to get the invoice number information. However, since the case was started in the United States through the USCIS/NVC this number must be provided by you. Please provide this information to the client.

Mr. haljbr,

All documents must be forwarded to the US Consulate Rio de Janeiro, as already informed in our previous message (http://brazil.usembassy.gov/interview/forms-for-immediate-relatives-and/or-employment-based-petitions.html) . Once received we will schedule an appointment for her to appear in the US Consulate. What is described above is the only thing you need from the National Visa Center at this point.

Regards,

Immigrant Visa Unit

United States Consulate General

Rio de Janeiro - RJ -Brazil

Seems to me that the embassy needs the IIN in order to access the DS260.

Email the embassy and provide them the following:

Visa Category: F1 (Unmarried Son of US Citizen)

Principal Applicant: YOUR NAME

Derivative Child: YOUR DAUGHTER'S NAME

NVC Case Number: XXX

Invoice ID Number (IIN): XXX

Something is not right here.

Anyway, here's my last resort...

Email NVC (with Subject: <case number>, <daughter's name>, FOR URGENT REVIEW OF SUPERVISOR) and tell them that your child will be a follow-to-join derivative and that you need to access her DS260 so you can complete the visa process. Provide the same information that I posted above. Wait a business day or two then make a follow-up CALL, if possible ask for the SUPERVISOR.

On the other hand, send the embassy the required documents and wait for an interview schedule.

Ok apple, I did as you said.

Now I am trying to call NVC to ask again.

Did you have this issue about your son or daughter too?

No. Our kids were my husband's derivatives in his (then) F2B petition. They immigrated together. :)

Well I got an email from embassy telling that interview was schedule to jun 27.

Ok, but I check to web site and couldn't fill the form yes. So they are calling me without DS-260, and without interview letter.

I sent an email asking for confirmation.

I just want do things right.

Does anyone has anything to share about this?

Thanks

If the embassy sent you the email about the June 27th interview, then that's your interview letter already.

NVC still has time to unlock the DS260. Keep calling them.

Now your daughter can do the medical.
