Hello guys!

This is for those who have already scheduled their interviews as well as those who have finished the interview process.... how many slots open up per day for US Visa Interview in the Philippines? We're still waiting for the July slots to open up, just wondering if they get gobbled up on the first day or something...

Thanks in advance!

I don't think anybody can give you an answer to that. I'm sure USEM has a number to meet per day, but it's not published.

On the date of my interview last October 2013, I am estimating that there are about at least 40 K1s, but since we're interviewed at the IV unit, we share the number with the rest of the immigrant visa chasers. I think I saw at least a hundred applicants there that day. But there were also USCs, so I'm not really sure.

But then again, the embassy decides when to show the available dates and how much they can cater in a day. And be mindful as well that USEM is still currently trying to keep up with the Haiyan/Yolanda expedites.

Like sweet cakes states "no one knows". She also gave only a small percentage (just K1 estimate to answer your question) of the number of "all" applicants there in a given day and I would estimate "hundreds" are having an interview to include all types of visa's.

You haven't missed July open dates yet as they have not been released. Stay vigilant and you will get a date.

As of late "how many slots open up"...... NONE! Just keep checking the left side of the dashboard when you are logged on, that is where the first available interview date will show up, if nothing is there... then keep checking... persistence and patience.

In our case, we waited at least 2 weeks until usem opened slots for interview. Me and my fiancé tried calling the callcenter for US embassy and they couldn't help but tell us to be patient, and keep checking the website which is easier by the way instead of staying on the phone talking to call center reps and end up nothing coz what you see on the website is the same thing they see. Patience is the key, so we monitored the website almost 24 hours till finally in april 28 around 2:30 pm I checked like I always do with approximately 2 hours of interval ( pls be aware that there is limit in trying to set up an appointment in a day using the website and you may get locked out and will automatically be refreshed after 24 hours ). To my excitement I picked the first date that opened which is May 13 and it said 4 slots available so I took it for me and for my daughter.

So, good luck! We hope that after sharing our experience it helps you in any way. Be patient and keep checking the website coz you'll never know when it will show up free slots and before you know it, other applicants just like us already took it. ??

Thanks for the replies! Yeah, we've been taking turns checking every 2-3 hours every single day since last week... hopefully the July slots open up, even if we take the July 1 slot we still have at least a month to prepare :)

Thanks again!

When you see a date like that at the left of your screen, that means there is at least one interview slot open and you can click continue to schedule your appointment. To schedule your appointment, you need to click schedule appointment (or continue) at the top left of your dashboard.

That is a good approach. Aggressive, but hey you got results and that is what counts. You probably picked up on cancellations and grabbed them at the right time.

Nope, there was no Continue option.

Just the banner that said no appointments available.
