going on vacation to the philippines..

hi everybody.

how are you guys?

im planning to go to the philippines to spend time with my wife for a month (FEb to march).

her I-130 petition is pending at CSC since december 2, 2006 and her I-129f petition (K-3) is pending at CSC since january 4, 2007.

we are just waiting for the approval (hope it will arrive soon)...

do you think its ok to go to the philippines for a month even do her petition is pending here in the states.

are there any petition paperworks that i should be worry about while im out of the country.

i though had my sister here in the states to check my mail everyday.

thank you guys.

good luck to all of us.

hope we will be with our loved ones soon.

Not only is it ok, but it's a good thing considering it will be evidence of your ungoing relationship. If you have someone checking your mail then you are fine. If something arrives they can alert you and you can take action from there.

Yes you can go to philippines even if your petition still on pending. Even if you receive any mail from NVC and/or CSC while ur gone. You will still have more time to respond back to them. Register to USCIS case status online so you can check your case status online or it will send email for the update of ur case while ur in pinas. have fun and enjoy ur vacation there kabayan.

Recv'd DS230 packet from NVC : 2007-01-16

Recv'd another letter from NVC that they need additional req'ment and which is DS230 : 2006-01-16 (what?!!!! i just recv'd DS230)

Send DS230 to NVC - 2007-01-25

NVC rec'd thru USPS tracking - 2007-01-29

NVC confimed they recv DS230 (2007-01-30) and I-864 (reviewed and ok'd) - need to wait for 2-4 weeks for case completion.

Rec'd RFE from NVC (need certified copy of Birtch Cert. and Marriage Cert.) - 2007-02-13
