Hello!

My fiancé is applying for the K1 visa for me within the next 2 weeks. We planned on putting his father as our co-sponsor (on the Affidavit of Support form), because he make enough money for ir AND my fiancé doesn't (or at least he can't prove it). Is there any possibility of they deny my fiancé's father as our sponsor? Some people been telling me it's really rare that they will approve a co-sponsor for a K1 visa :'(

Have anyone been though this same situation??? :/

I am fairly sure they accept co-sponsors in Brazil, and it is not rare for them to do so.

The USC petitioner will not list his father on his I-134 though. The USC petitioner and the co-sponsor each fill out their own separate I-134 forms and provide most recent tax transcript, letter from employer and/or most recent pay stubs. Co-sponsor should also provide proof of being a USC or LPR.
