Who can come to AOS interview?

Hello,

Need some light on the following matter.

I am about to have my AOS interview. My husband is a petitioner and my mother-in-law is a joint sponsor.

She wants to go with us to the interview. Nothing wrong with that, she is a lovely person and a lot of support.

But I wonder, if she is allowed to come with us. Or maybe she is supposed to come?

Does anyone know?

She might be allowed to enter the USCIS office, but she would not be allowed to go back with you when called for your interview. Only the USC spouse and AOS applicant would be interviewed together.

She may not even be allowed in the office building to wait in there. You have to show your appointment letter and ID to get in. There is no need for her to go with you.
