Hi everyone!

I received my EAD card last week. As I checked online the status for my AOS is at Testing and Interview:

Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I have the following questions:

1. How would I know if they already sent a letter? Would the message under the Testing and Interview stage change?

2. Is it possible that they really still have not sent a notice for interview?

3. Do you know how long the scheduling usually takes?

Thanks for your guidance everyone!

:)

Congrats on your EAD!

1. When your scheduling is complete, you should receive a message like this on your USCIS case status: On May 15, 2014, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for June 16, 2014. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283..

Of course, with a different date (this is just my date). They will send you the interview letter when you have a date for your interview.

3.Scheduling an interview depends mostly on how busy your field office is. For me, it took 1 month and 1 week to receive the interview date. Others received their dates in just a few days, and others have been waiting for an interview date since March. You just have to wait, you're almost there! :)

Super thanks Cazzers! I was worried that the letter may have been lost in the mail because my EAD got delivered to a neighbor and I had to ask neighbors before I got it. Haha! I laugh about it now but it was crazy when me and my husband were worried looking for it.

Thank you for answer!

I believe it also states, that if you do not receive a notice within 30 days to call the 800 number. I would give them a call to see what's going on. Just to be on the safe side just in case the letter was not delivered to the correct address like your EAD.

I have also just received my EAD/AP card but there is still no movement on my AOS and currently on "acceptance" mode. My e-notifications also stopped coming in after the initial NOAs. My EAD/AP didn't make a stop as well at "Testing and Interview". It just turned to Card Production straight from Acceptance after 71 days. There appears to be some glitch recently.

I have recently registered (sign-up for case updates) on the uscis.gov site (left panel at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do). Seems to be more reliable because I received notifications after I registered and you can also see whenever there's an update on your cases and these will be visible on your "My portfolio". :)

Btw, when you have a chance, :time: . It helps everyone who use the forum and easier for those trying to help respond to your concerns.
