Birth Certificate in Mexico for my son...translated?

Well Met Everyone and thanks for reading my post.

Does the Mexican Birth Certificate of our son and Mexican Divorce Certificate of mom from a prior marriage need to be translated to English for our son to get his Certificate of Citizenship at the Consulate appoint or is it ok for it to be in Spanish...the website http://tijuana.usconsulate.gov/reporting_of_birth_abroad.html does not specify.

I think it's best if you call the consulate in TJ. (but I would say that it's ok if it's in Spanish...)
