Hello everyone,

My husband and I are married and I'm finally all settled into Florida, about to send our AOS/AP/EA package, its nearly ready to go but..

Just a quick question:
Am i able to put the address of my Husbands Mother as a point to recieve all my documentation from here on out? Or does it have to be where we are living.
For eg: where it says 'mailing address' on the forms can I put her house instead of my own?

The situation is that we are currently living in his family home which they are just about to put up on the market, and we have just signed a lease with a move in date of late June so its all over the place, and I hear dealing with an address change during this process can have harsh consequences.

Thanks for any response in advance :)

I was under the impression that as a non citizen you are required to keep USCIS updated on your address, so technically you should complete the forms using your current address and update it at the end of June when you move. I definitely understand the concern with updating details part way through the AOS - and relying on USCIS to do it correctly - but you can complete the online change of address form and then follow up with a phone call to confirm it has been done.

I wasn't quite sure from your post, but is your husbands' mom living at a different location than the family home that you are currently living in?

btw congratulations on getting married :)
