Yes Khenzee. That is what I am going to research for. I have friends (Couple and they are married) from Turkey. They came here with tourist visa and now he just turned his tourist visa to student visa.

How did he do that?

You can't turned one visa and take another.

You can apply for a visa fromoutside the US.

From within the US you can only change your status.

Your fiancee/wife have to maintain her legal status for the whole time.

Even one day out of status makes her ineligible for adjusting of status as the wife of LPR.

I have no idea how he did but he did it. Now one of them is going to school and they both can stay here with that I-20 form. I decided to bring my girlfriend here with student visa and get married after a few months. Then I'll start the process. If I do this she could stay here while we are waiting for her process. She also can go to my country and come back. This is the only way that we can stay together here while she is waiting for her process.

She has to apply for a student visa on her own.

You can't do that for her or instead of her.

She'll be able to stay (with you, in the US) only if she's studying.

Cause she has to be in a legal status all the time.

I know I didn't say I am going to do it for her. Of course she is going to do it on her own. She will keep studying. There are a lot of cheap schools that she can go or she might go to a fashion school as she wants. All I wanna do and All I care is being with her here.
