Question concerning NOA2

First, I want to say this is a great place to get information and it has helped me a lot during the K-1 visa process.

So far everything has been moving much quicker than I dreamed it could but I do have a few questions. Has everyone received their NOA2 prior receiving packet 3? I also never received an e-mail (and yes, I have checked a 100 times to see if it is set correctly) from USCIS saying I was approved but I did receive a letter from NVC stating they received an approved petition. Is the NOA2 required for anything else in the process.

I don't want to get the the interview (hopefully I will know when that is scheduled soon) and be told that is the one piece of paper missing. Thanks in advance for any answers or advise.

The NOA2 is needed in ther process later on.

I had to show it at my interview, and you need it for your AOS.

You don't need the email, just the one you got in the mail. It says I797 Notice of Action on it.

That you'll need. I think it's pretty easy to get a replacement if you never got your either. I think you can call up Vermont and tell them.

Someone else will post further to that I am sure.

Definitely call them, that is strange you never got a notice by email (did you sign up for email updates?) or mail! You will need it later in the process so definitely get a copy of it sent to you!

Thanks for all your help. I called the VSC and it appears they sent my approved petition to the NVC without updating their computer system which means a NOA was never sent. The VSC is now contacting the NVC to get a NOA2 to me. Let all pray that this doesn't slow everything down since packet 3 has all ready been received and sent back.

Would suggest to call them again next week maybe you will get a different answer
