Yes its BS you have violated the law and this is not good. Do you even have a SS# yet? Did you fill out a I-9 to get to the job? WOW this is major.

As the rest said, all non-USCs need to have an actual EAD card (or GC once your AOS is approved) on hand before they can start working. Thus, it is totally illegal that you have started working without the EAD. If your employer is audited, you are seriously putting their business at risk, and this might also negatively affect your immigration status, especially if you have filled-out an I-9 (http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-9.pdf) as Dwheels mentioned.

Since you applied for this in March, from estimated time approximations, you might get your EAD card within the month. I think it would be best to inform your employer about this and request if possible to resume reporting for work only once you have your EAD.

I was actually hopin someone will encourage me on, Lol... But thanks guys, i will inform then ASAP! Its funny i filled form I-9 and my employer dint see anythin wrong.

I have misread and I thought you filed last March. EAD/AP average processing time is 60-90 days from application. Personally, it would be best for your and your employer's interest if you inform them of this concern now-ish.

Sure they will, sooner or later. That's why it's important that you initiate informing them before they check with e-verify.
