Sorry to hear that mate. I have yet to understand why NVC schedules interviews a month before retrogression knowing that Embassies will most likely run AP that takes at least 30 to 60 days to complete

Hope so......

is it true? pd of july 2012? thats good news. 3 more months before my pd

Well this is a good news if it moves in vietnam hopefully it will do the same to philippines, in this case there are still unused visas for fiscal year 2014 that can be awarded up to july 2014.

If thats the scenario then there will be a great possibility that visa availability for fiscal year 2015 will move the retrogression into its original processing date or maybe even into "curren" specially if lots of f2a shifted to IR due to the retrogression.

I'm in AP after my interview May 21 2014, with 221g missing documents.

I sent this doc via e mail and they received May 30 .. They have my passport, you think this retrogression impact to my visa too??? I'm so worry!!!

i think u dont need to worry ... bec ur pd is not affected by retrogression ...

Retrogression is always applicable for family preference visas. If the consular officer goes to approve you on a certain day but your priority date has regressed to the point where you are ahead of the cutoff date, you would have to wait to become current again before the visa can be issued.

Sorry to hear that mate. I have yet to understand why NVC schedules interviews a month before retrogression knowing that Embassies will most likely run AP that takes at least 30 to 60 days to complete??? They make you hope and dream for couple of days and then you are hit with bad news... this is insane!!!

Still on AP.

My interview was MAy 21, 2014 an F2a category. Almost everyday i check my status at ceac, mine is AP while my 2 children are READY. RETROGRESSION is almost 23 days now. I have'nt received any email from NVC about our case.

Is there a hope still for our case???

Please help.can't sleep too much worries.
