We had our interview (for I-130 visa) via DCF and they are requesting more proof of domicile.

We have now established a bank account in the USA as well as a letter from my brother that we would be living with him......from people's experience is a signed lease from a apartment absolutely required or is a letter staying with family sufficent?

I've seen people be successful with a letter from a relative with whom they will stay. However, without understanding more of your circumstances, it's impossible to say whether this will be enough for you. Have you been filing US tax returns? If not, why not?
