Hi,

I have a question for the experienced members here. I am a 29 year old whose immigration was petitioned by his spouse. We have gone through everything smoothly so far until we came to filling in the online DS260, which requires us to submit my vaccination schedule. Unfortunately despite having gone through all the vaccinations required, I do not seem to have a record of them. The reason for this being the fact that we have traveled a lot as a family and all the relocation every now and then has cost us loss of some documents.

So we even called NVC to ask for a solution and they were not helpful at all. They said they can not answer any questions.

Is there anyone here who has faced this issue? Does someone know what needs to be done in this case?

You don't actually submit a vaccination record on the DS260, you just state yes or no as to whether you have proof of updated vaccinations. You can state no, as you will be attending the medical appointment which will ensure you have all the vaccinations performed at that time.

Many people have discussed this here on VJ. Don't worry :)

If you are able to get any of those vaccinations in advance, you may save yourself some money at that medical appointment

Thanks a lot for the prompt response...

What I really meant was the same thing. I filled in the DS260 form 2 weeks ago and both myself and my wife were left scratching our heads when they asked if we have a vaccination proof.

Are you sure that the medical exam will make sure this is covered and we will not have to submit anything as a scanned attachment when we submit the photographs and other documents they have requested?

I also thought that maybe the physician will know if I have had the vaccines once tests are done but was not really sure.

If you're right then I will submit the form right away and get us back on track. Cost shouldn't be an issue since my medical expenses are all covered by my employer. :)

Considering you have medical coverage, take the list of required vaccinations to your doctor and get blood tests done in advance. You would then know what vaccinations you may still require and you would have proof of what is already satisfactory. Top off any requirements prior to your immigration medical appointment, and you're good to go!:)

Are you referring to the IV package when you mention submitting photos and documents? If so, you do not have to send any vaccination record with the IV package. :luv:
