Just ask him to send you the receipt number and you can check status online at this link .

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

He already forwarded me the message that they sent him (NOA1) and the receipt number. But i've heard that they don't always update it and sometimes you can get a RFE by mail without an e-mail/text.

What if they send a RFE by mail and we never received it? then the 90 days passes...

It's all crazy at TSC right now, we were actually advised it could take us an additional 5 months with where they are right now with applications...I see all the time here where the USCIS have such a random approach to files and nothing like the order they are received...to believe so flies in the face of the evidence provided by members that do up date.

We are early Jan filers with the NOA1...with what we have been told could be Sept/Oct by the time its done! Good luck certainly seems a lucky dip draw for approval!

An additional 5 months?! do they mean from now until interview?!

There was an Australian who filed in February and is at TSC, she got her NOA2 last week. She had sent a letter to her senator. Have you contacted Congressmen/Senators yet?

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

I am not entirely sure Sweets, the answer was unclear...my partner relayed the info but I can assure what we heard back is a very reliable source...we are very frustrated as we like many others here have planed etc for our special day!

I also seen the one you mentioned...it also goes to show what I said about the random way in which flies are dealt with...my feeling is its easier to deal with the files that land on your desk than to get off your ### and grab a box that needs seeing too....there is no reasonable way to see otherwise from what we see here from other members!

I think every case is different.. We cant say we going to have the same bad luck of other people.. its sad because we are human beings not animal we need our family and all of us pay 340$ or more this is unfair we need a better service... but.. No it's not true that we have to wait 5 month more, it's true that TSC have a huge backlog right now but they have more cases than other Services Centers... my best advice is that to all the people that have 4 or 5 months waiting write a letter to ur senators IT WORKS!!

we wait around 7 months for the approval of my k1 visa, and one of the biggest problems for us was the Mexican postal service, I never receive the letter for my appointment at the US Consulate.

I am a February filer and I am pretty sure that I will get my NOA2 around September... I don't think this process takes only 5 months (from NOA1 to NOA2). More like 7-9 months for those who have their file at the Texas Center. I guess some are lucky and it only takes them 2 months. This whole approval thing is random.

Hi, I am the beneficiary, I' m from Dominican Republic and I am waiting My NOA2 since November 2013.

I called to USCIS and they cannot give me any information about my case visa K1 but

My fiance called them and they told him that hey are working with cases from November 16.

I'm so frustrated because we have 6 months exactly. My NOA1 is to November 12.

the last update is from 21 November to today's date. I never thought having to wait 6 months for my NOA2

Wow so sadd!! how's can be that possible?¿ andd.. why in this site said TSC is currently working on FEB 16 2014?

OMG all of this is really freakining me out!!!!

FOR ME.. Everything is a B..S... No one can know is the dates are true or not..

I'm March filler and mi fiance called too and they didnt even say nothing just we have to wait... I've been seeing many many cases approved in short time... also I saw the other day on FB a lot of womans from Phillipines posted is somebody know American guys to marry ####### is this... and almost all the cases from Phillipines are expedited this is so unfair soo unfair.

every single couple here pay $340 or maybe more and they are treating us like a animals.. soo many frauds approved and the real real cases are just waiting ...

My humble advice your fiance have to contact to congressman and explain our cases and maybe he can send and inquiry to USCIS because is too much... Normally they say 5 months aproximatly and everything isnt true ... :( :( I'm talking for me and for the all the rest of people out there waiting!! :ranting::protest:
