Hello guys,

When do you think is the best time for me to fill out the form DS-160 ?my fiance thinks we won't get an interview date until i fill that form out (i contacted the embassy and they told me they schedule the interviews upon availability, they did not mention anything about the DS-160) Should i do it now even though i still don't have my interview date? should i do it 1 month b4 the interview? does it expire? i'm confused

I don't think it matters. I actually started the DS-160 after I got the interview date.

You can save it for 30 days, but I think as soon as you complete it and send it, it would not expire..otherwise the letter from the NVC wouldn't recommend the fiance to complete the DS-160 in the meantime.
