Just checked again. It doesn't say anything about the case being transferred. Still the same thing about alien registration number being changed in May....

Anybody else on here with an early May NOA1 that hasn´t gotten a transfer notice yet? I also never received an Alien Registration Number Changed message on the USCIS portal, which worries me a little bit.

I have a feeling it will take 2-3 weeks to get the transfers done. There are probably close to 1500 - 2000 April and May petitions that could be transferred and that won't happen in a couple of days. Hang in there.

Hi there another May filer, we received a NOA1 on 16th May and have received a notice of transfer on 8th August. Not too sure where yet (I'm assuming CSC?!)

I am a May 27th filer and I received notice about 2 days ago that I finally, as of August 8th, have been given an Alien Registration number! Maybe not as good as a transfer but at least a touch!

Maybe better than a transfer. NOA2 usually follows closely after the ARN.

Not necessarily...I got my NOA1 on May 8th my ARN change in May 9th.....still no NOA2. I read that the ARN is just stating your beneficiaey has been assigned a number. Sorry!!!?

OK, good to know. My fiance doesn't have her ARN yet, but I'd read elsewhere on the forum that NOA2 usually follows closely behind the ARN. Conflicting information, and they're probably both right for different circumstances.

I think what happened in that case (I believe we are thinking of the same one) is that when the center finally got around to processing the case, the adjudicator noticed all the checklist items (for them) had not been completed so he or she sent that out and 2 or 3 weeks later it was completed. I think they need the ARN in the system in order to complete processing so it had to be done when it was noticed. That would be my guess anyway.

Hoping this may be the closer to my situation (though I have already prepared myself for the loooong wait), considering my NOA1 was May 27th and just had my ARN changed August 8th, unlike those who get there ARN the day or 2 after their NOA1. Any sign that my case has been touched is a good one I think, especially almost 3 months after filing!

Is not having an ARN a couple months after NOA1 a thing to be worried about? Our NOA1 didn't list an ARN and that's the only notice we've received thus far, apart from this transfer notice.

I never received an notice for ARN at all. I called and asked and they said I may or may not. Not to worry.
