Lots of people in here acting pretty jealous that someone was approved. Word of advice: if you cant stand seeing other people get approved before you, then stop checking this site.

Maybe they were approved because of Philippines, maybe not. I waited the full 5.5 months while some people were approved in weeks from countries besides the Philippines.

No need to be bitter or upset, stop checking this site until your 5 months if you cant be nice. Coming here and looking is not going to make your process faster, you will get approved when you get approved. Hang tight people, keep a good attitude or you will drag this thing out longer than it needs to be.

Does anyone know how USICS selects which service center they will send your 129F to? I am also a May filer and am not sure what the cause of the delays are in Texas. I live in New York and also not sure why my 129F is in Texas and not Vermont. Question for the senior members, is there any apparent method to this madness? Why is CSC on average 4-5 months faster than Texas?

Hi everyone,

May 13th NOA1 date here.

I am new to the site, though got A LOT of helpful information here in April/May.

I filed from out of country (dad sent I-129f to Texas from Canada, after I mailed it to him from France). My fiance and I plan to live in Florida and are using a friends address their. I have not lived in the US the past few years.

My friend in Florida never received the NOA1 notice and I did not receive the email notice. I called a few weeks ago and they were able to give me the receipt # and NOA1 date over the phone. I have not been able to look my file up online, it says it's not found, and they told me it's due to some glitch. VERY frustrating that I have no mail/email notices yet (they are resending letter) and told me to register for email updates online...but I can't due to unfound file.

Hope the TSC speeds up! and they fix this damn glitch!

Cheers

On what I have read, you can call the NVC in 2 weeks to get your manila case number (MCN), pay the Visa fee, get medical done and set an appointment for interview.. good luck!

It depends on the state you live in, as I have seen most of the East coast goes to Texas and West coast to CSC, you can find a thread about it somewhere on VJ. Vermont is not processing K1 anymore, so all the cases are sent to TSC. TSC has a huge backlog now, so that's why it takes them much longer than California. My fiancee is also from New York, May filler. We tried to put expedite request 4 weeks ago, but didn't receive any update yet. Good luck on your journey :)

Depends on what state the petitioner lives in.
