I've searched VJ for the answer to this question for three hours now and could not find it. When my fiancé gets his packet in the mail is he supposed to open it to take out the passport or no?

Yesterday when I picked up my visa... There's an outer envelope with your address on it, inside there is the passport, a sealed envelope you can't open and a couple of pieces of paper. So you don't need to open the sealed document to get your passport out.

I'm getting different answers. Some of them are opening a special flap, others are it's in a envelope with the sealed envelope and others have said don't open it at all. I just want the right answer.

The flap answer is from the Philippines, so cross that off. Different delivery company. Different package.

He needs his passport at the airport in England, so cross off leaving it in the envelope.

Visualize this:

{ passport + [sealed file envelope] }

Take off the { } outer delivery wrapper and throw it away.

You are left with >> passport + [sealed file envelope]

Was there not a case recently where it was all in one envelope?

Behave !

I am using my best elementary special needs teacher skills to break it down and you are messin' with me. :P

or rather the OP.

Maybe somebody could put a demo on You Tube for a better visual.

That guy that made the movie proposal could do a series of helpful video visuals. What's his name...something to do with peanut butter. PBJ??

Hmmm

Does not sound like You Tube, are you sure that this was not something you subscribed to?

Is the outer delivery wrapper see-through? Thank you Nich for breaking it down for me. I do have a bit of a learning disability so its hard for me to understand some forms of speech.
