Welcome to JV! 5 months is the approximate time for a k-1 visa approval through the TX SCS... If u sent G-145 form and it was not processed you can also go to http://www.uscis.gov/ and create an account to start receiving updates by text or email.

Good luck to u both!

Hi there and welcome!

November and December TSC filers are almost complete and we should see January filers start being approved soon.

I am a January filer and I am still waiting for an NOA2 :clock: In 30 days It will be 5 months since we filed our I-129F petition.

You should prepare for a 5 month processing time for NOA2. Good luck!

i don't think the electronic notification system (texts, emails) has been working the last few weeks for TSC. there have been several members here who received their NOA2 in the mail but never received a text/email. And the "check your status" option on the USCIS website did not show their approval.

unfortunately, most members here with applications at TSC are waiting around 5 months for approval. there have been some that are approved within 2-3 months - but that is not the norm. and honestly, i wouldn't count on a fast approval happening for you. the standard advice here on VJ is to expect 5 months and be happy if you get it sooner. it sucks - i know. :( but know that you are not alone. if you haven't already done so....check out the April TSC filers thread.
