Hello Everyone,

Our case is still on AP (administrative processing) since April 3, 2014 which is the date of my interview.

After I had my interview, they told me that my husband who is the petitioner need to submit his W-2 as an additional support.

He submitted it and the consulate received it dated, April 7, 2014.

Until now at this point I haven't received my visa....

Does anyone know how long it will take if you case in on AP?......

anyone here with the same case?

PLS... HELP.....

No one can tell you for sure how long your case will be under AP. Eventually your case and the W-2s will be reviewed -- then the visa will likely be issued.

ETA: AP can last a couple of days, a couple of weeks, or several weeks. Continue to be patient -- most likely you'll get your visa. Also, your husband could always send a friendly inquiry to the IV unit.

I was in ap for 48 days when I called us embassy to inquire the status of my k1 visa after my July 15, 2014 interview....I was not given any 221g and my passport was retained by the us embassy after my interview... the lady who answered my call said the fiancée visa will be issued the next day and to call back after 2 days....though the same day I called, I also emailed my USC fiancé congressman using his name, the congressman representative called my fiancé within 24 hours and ask him to send the waiver form...

.indeed when I called up after 2 days as suggested by the lady at us embassy my visa was issued and it will be picked up by 2go any time of the 3rd day....my fiancé sent the waiver form thru email to the congressman...

I received my passport 7 working days after my call...the congressman representative called my fiancé after they received the email waiver form within 24 hours but my fiancé said the visa was already issued...

I suggest that you call and inquire the status of ur fiancé visa with the us embassy soonest.

My interview was held on the 13th of May and I was required to send additional document which I sent on the same day. My visa status was on AP since then till the 21st and it got updated then said READY then went back on AP on the 27th so we were kinda confused but just today it got updated again and now it says ISSUED..I guess this is it ? finally! Just sent an iMessage to my fiancé about the good news although I know he won't be able to read it till he wakes up. My question though, from the time it says issued when do we actually get the visa?

See this is my problem, the embassies make you act ugly and tell Congressman's and Senators on them, but why do we as USC have to go through this, just issue the visa, if everything is ok and you didn't get cited for needing something else, just issue the thing already....now my fiance's interview was over a month ago and still nothing, so unfair..So now me the USC will have to tell my senator on them again..yes I had to tell on USCIC and when she got in touch with them package was approved in a week..but whyyyyy make me do that to you...If I was a supervisor, I would not want Senators and congressmans calling into my office because my staff can't get their work done on time...AARRGGHH ok finish venting!!

You did pretty darned good especially with missing documents. TIme from ISSUED to something for you to pick up at 2Go is typically 5 business days but it can go a bit longer.
