Hello everybody!

Has anybody ever had this happen to them?

My wife and I filed an AOS and the process went pretty smoothly. We received the approval and green card last week after doing an interview a couple weeks before that.

The online case status for the I-765, I-130 and I-485 were all in the final step. We received approval notices, green card, and everything in the mail.

A couple days ago, I got the following email alert:

The last processing action taken on your case

Receipt Number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Testing and Interview

On May 22, 2014, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for June 24, 2014. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at
1-800-375-5283.

If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location and anything you will need to bring to your interview. If your application remains pending beyond our normal processing times (as shown below) please contact our national customer service center at
1-800-375-5283.

Please note that not every application/applicant will require an interview. In some instances, an interview is required by regulation and others an interview is requested because USCIS has determined that this is the most efficient means to determine eligibility. For a naturalization application the interview will include your taking the required English and/or Civics tests (unless exempt or waived).

I checked the case status online and noticed the I-485 had changed back to the "Testing and Interview" stage. What does this mean? I have seen cases where people are called in for a second interview but not after having been approved already and receiving the Green Card.

If it helps, we will have been married for two years in august and live together. We filed last fall.

Thanks for your help!

Must be a glitch. No interviews after getting the GC. But wait for the postal mail, to see if anything comes.

The online system is not reliable.

I agree with Harpa.

Wait a couple of weeks to see if you get any mail, then maybe double check by calling in.
