Hi guys just to know if someone have the same situation

My case was approved in February 10, i received a letter saying that the case will be send to the NVC, but after waiting more than 3 month and no answer there is nothing yet.

Can someone tell me what can i do because I sent an email to nvcresearch and they told me that the case is not there and that they will contact with the USCIS to know what happened with my case

so i don't know what to think or do

You need to do this. Call USCIS ask for a tier 2 supervisor (you may be on hold a while) and say this.

"when did my petition physically leave the service center". They should have in their system the time and date. I am afraid it hasn't left so you need to call them now. report back what they say so we can help further.

I tell you this because I too was sitting and waiting I was with a bunch of people and they all were at NVC within 10 days I was waiting and finally after 28 days I called USCIS after I too did the nvcresearch email and wahla my petition was just sitting at CSC waiting.

Call now they are open until 5pm

This is exactly what happened to me, keep calling and request tier 2 and ask him or her where is the file they have two systems where they can look at cases and if you have the right tier 2 he will definitely know where the case is, in my situation one system showed still in Texas and another one shower nvc each time I call they say it was shipped and that was the system the reps use, I had congressman involved everyone, until I talked to the correct tier 2 and he actualy told Me that my case was just sitting in Texas and he will send an expedited request he did on April 18th and the case was received April 21st.

I swear the supervisor typed a few words and said "well your petition is still here" (28 days had passed) this was June of 2012. Getting to NVC was like a week. So then she said "do you want me to request it sent to NVC". Like DUH

So she put in a request that was a Friday it was at NVC that Monday June and about 2 weeks later I had my case#. All the rest of folk I was all approved with between May 14th and May 28th were done at NVC (I know they were fast fast this was when they had government employees before the contractors came later 2012 for DACA.

So call USCIS and you will have to wait for Tuesday now Monday they are closed.

Ok I called to the USCIS today and they told me they have nothing i mean any update about the case in the system, they wrote to the services center in texas where it was transferred the case before approving it to ask them what had happened to the case

And nothing to wait another two weeks until return to texas email

So you know to expect more

But I think now if the case was stuck at the texas center, they should now send it to the NVC after this requeriment i think

I'm sorry that it took them that long to forward your case to the NVC. But glad to know that they finally did. Usually after 2 weeks, the NVC can confirm that they've received your case. Then another 30 days to get your case number. This is based on posts/timelines I've seen around here.

Good luck!

Trust me. I know your feelings. The same thing happened to me. I git my case approved on january but the ship my case to nvc after 3.5 months. Plus u hâve to wait At least 30 days for them to pût u on the system. Right i am waiting for them to send me my invoice to pay the Iv and send the documents. Btw try to collect all the document required so u hâve everything ready. Don't wait bc if you wait to get the documents when they tell u. It will delay your processing time. Good luck. Pray a lot. Your journey is almost over.
