Hi,

Ok so my fiancée will never receive her appointment package where she currently lives. So we have our MNL number, we have paid the visa fee and have our receipt number. I go to that online site to schedule an appointment, and all it ever says day or night is "no appointments available" And if you try to many times it shuts you down for 24 hrs.!!!!! Am I doing this the only way possible? am I doing something wrong? I understand you cant make an appt. on the phone unless you have received the "letter" from the embassy, which will never come. All these sites that tell you how to do it say once you have your MNL you can schedule the interview appt. Im just curious I have gotten all the way to the checking for an interview and it has never once asked me for the MNL number, all its ever asked for is the very original USCIS number on our I-129 notices. Any help would be appreciated......Thanks a lot......Pete

Hop over to the regional Philippines forum to get advice. All you can do is keep trying. There were so many expedited visas after the typhoon, that the embassy is badly backed up and every interview slot fills very fast.

The demand for interview slots exceeds the supply now. Once they release a slab of dates, it fills up in a matter of hours.

You are not doing anything wrong. It is just the nature of the beast. Keep on trying.

My fiancée haven't receive the letter and I called the embassy 2 days ago and they was able to pull up my file but their systems mirrors what is online. So they had no appts available just like online and they recommend for me to book appt. online as it is faster cause people are booking appts so fast and calling will most likely make you miss a opportunity. I believe as long as they receive your case at the embassy they are able to make a appt. for you. If there was a slot open then I would be able to make one over the phone and my fiancée still hasn't not receive a letter yet.

No need to wait for the letter, when you got the MNL# that's the one you'll use for scheduling interview. Good luck and I hope you'll have your appointment soon..
