Hi, did you fill out a g-1145 to get a email notification? If you did not fill out that form then it will take a little bit to get a notification via mail. Also did he do a tracking method when he sent the package of to the texas service center so you know when the package was received and signed for?

Petitions are not mailed to the Texas Service Center. They are mailed to the Dallas Lockbox intake facility.

OP, how do you know your case will be processed at the Texas Service Center if you have not received your NOA1 receipt notice yet?

My fiance passed our package last may 9, 2014. He also told me that they already got the processing fee. But until now we haven't received our NOA1. Btw, we are at texas service center.

Hi there! Did you mean your fiance's check was cashed? As mentioned by Kay, you will only know if your I-129f package is assigned to a particular service center once you receive your NOA1. Your fiance might have meant he sent it to Dallas, Texas, and this is where all fiance petitions are filed to. Anyway, it might take uscis 30 days to mail your fiance a notice (NOA1). Or if he also filed a G-1145 e-notification, he might receive a text and/or email notifying receipt of your case files.

Let us know if you receive some good news, ayt? All the best! :)

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi! Guys got our NOA 1 just today!!! :-) what to expect for NOA 2? :-/

If the number on your NOA1 begins with WAC, it is at the California Service Center, which is currently taking 2-6 weeks to process a petition and send the NOA2. If the number begins with SRC, you've been assigned to the Texas Service Center, and the wait times are unfortunately much longer, 5 months or more.

Be sure to update your timeline either way and good luck! :)

Unfortunately, it's SRC :'-( long way to go for me.

Here's the K1 flowchart for your reference: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

If your case is assigned to TSC, it might indeed take up to 5 months +. You can also check your status online at uscis site using your receipt number: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

So for now, just wait for the next notice that USCIS will send, and hopefully no RFE for you guys. All the best!
