I-864 "annual income" question

I'm filling out the I-864 for an IR-1/CR-1 filing. Arrived at part #6, question #5: "My current individual income is:" I read the instructions for it and they weren't crystal clear on my case: part of my income last year was from business (1099) and the rest was salary (W-2). The latter was for the employer I'm still working at now. If I use the 1040 total from my 2013 tax filing, it is lower than what my expected 2014 filing will be (not lower than the 125% of the poverty level, but enough below the 2013 filing that it may help them to know I'm in an even better position this year than last year). So do I use the numbers from my 2013 tax filing for this question? Or do I use my "current"/projected income from my current position? And, if the latter, is it gross or net income? Thanks

I am also stuck at this part.

My anual income was in Singapore dollars not USD,

how do I fill that in, do I convert it to USD? or indicate sing dollars?

(sorry if I am hijacking this thread, im hoping both our questions can get answered)

Current annual gross income from your current position. You can prove the current income with a letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs.

Nothing to be sorry about. Hopefully we can both get answers here. However, if you don't I recommend starting a new topic so your question isn't missed.

To answer your question, by the way, I believe you would have to convert your income to USD (Google) being that it will be compared to the US poverty level (in USD). Perhaps someone else can confirm that?

Current annual gross income from your current position. You can prove the current income with a letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs.

Makes sense. Thanks, KayDeeCee.

If your income will continue from the same source after moving back to the USA, convert to USD. However, unless your income will continue from the same source after moving to the USA, you enter 0.00, as your foreign income would not be relevant to sponsorship or the affidavit of support.
