Oh, also I wanted to add another reason why I am wary of our case is that I have worked in the US before under a J1 visa and I do not want any one to think that would be the reason I am wanting to go back! (trust me, never want to go back there!!)

Sounds like you should consider DCF if you are both living in the UK. Can't see why a previous J1 would be a concern. But I do wonder why you don't both stay there if you never want to go back the US again. After all, that's what getting a K1 generally means - marrying and living in the US.

I used an attorney and it was the best thing I did. He sent me a questionaire for all of the information needed for all of the forms. I submitted all forms of evidence of our relationship to him. I received my NOA2 in exactly 60 days. No RFE's or nothing. He also filled out all of the forms needed for my fiancee for her to take to her interview. He also wrote a letter to the Manila consulate for her to take with her. I never had to worry about anything.

There is a lot of mis- information on these web sites and it can get very confusing doing it by yourself. Every visa application is different because everyone has different information to be submitted. If you can afford it, I would highly reccommend using an attorney. While he is doing the work, you can continue life as usual,

Sure, there are some attorney's who can't be trusted, but you need to shop around. One of the first places to look would be at your local post office or county seat. You could also find one in the phone book. Use someone local, because if they don't do their job right, they wouldn't be around your local area very long.
