Hello all! ... so many questions!

So...I attended my K1 interview at the Montreal consulate on May 13. Everything went as planned, I was approved (yay!). I thought the "big" stress would be over but now find myself waiting for my visa and checking the CEAC website constantly. I know many people have posted on this topic but am looking to get personal experiences (mostly from Montreal consulate). I am aware that it has only been 10 days but; I have been at "Ready" ever since the interview. My case has been "updated" on the 21st, what does that mean? I am worried because I am seeing many peeps getting AP before their visas are issued. Am I freaking out for nothing here? Has anyone been stuck at "Ready" and then went straight to "issued"?. How long am I going to wait? Lady at the consulate said "1-2 weeks". I just want to know if this is progressing as it should. Any experience you have had would be of great comfort to me... thanks in advance.good day! :)

I had my interview this week. And the lady told me directly she had good news and bad news. The good news was that my visa was issued. And the bad news was that I got AP because of my chemistry background and I had to wait for 4 to 6 weeks to have my visa.

Thanks!

Rshree had the similar situation. He told me to bring my CV and RS to the interview. So I didn't need to mail them the documents after interview, and hopefully this would make my AP done sooner. During the interview, the lady just asked me two questions: how did we meet and what's our wedding plan.I told her we definitely will marry in three months after I enter the US but we haven't pick the exact date as I was not sure when I would get my visa. She smiled. They are very nice and friendly.

I did my medical exam on the same day as you:)

13 days for us. Some have waited a month with no reason as to why it was delayed. Most prolonged AP's are from people not originally from Canada.
