Neither does probation for a drunk driver who killed your family member, a miner who died because the owner violated numerous rules, etc.

The death is a tragedy but gun ownership is not the reason for it.

The difference being that there are laws against drunk driving and there are penalties, whereas there are no laws for CWS - carrying while stupid.

But hey, these are the things that happen in gun-friendly Florida. And our dimwits in Tallahassee sought to make conceal carry lawful for any and all lawful gun owners - no permit required - just as soon as a state of emergency is declared. Brilliant idea. What could possibly go wrong when scores of armed people get stuck in traffic while evacuating ahead of a storm? Fortunately, sanity prevailed and this effort failed.

Are you against all the bill of rights or just the 2nd?

It's a false argument since there is no serious debate nor is their any constitutional prescedent that individuals can be denied their 2nd amendment right with the exception of convicted felons and the mentally disturbed.
