AOS filed May 2006 and I am still waiting..

First a happy new year to all! This would be my first post for the year! It is freezing here and so is my AOS application. If you wil read my timeline, I filed last may 2006 and been through the interview and biometrics. Last December 22, 2006, I called up the USCIS Customer Service number and I told them about my case, asking for advice on what to do. Anyway I was given a confirmation number of that call and told to wait for 45 days again, If I check my online status, the last date they updated was December 2, 2006 and with the same message:

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On October 27, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER location.

Then a note appears: Note on "Last Updated" date:

Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email Notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your Case. This will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date, but may not result in a different status message.

Well I guess it is in their system..
