Dear Friends,


I applied for I-130 for my parents in November, 2013 and got RFE for additional proof on 14th may, 2014 as my birth certificate and their marriage certificate were registered at later dates than the actual ones.

So they are asking for additional proof.


The main issues is that all the documents and records have my mother's after wedding first name(-e.g ABC) on them. She had changed her name to her "before wedding first name"(e.g XYZ) before applying for passport and her passport has XYZ name on it.

So my main query is if its ok to use all those documents(with ABC name) or not. Kindly let me know if you anyone can assist me on this. Thanks.

Replied 2nd RFE 0n 28-04-2010; 1 day before the deadline to answer;)(had lost RFE document)

GC production ordered-05-05-2010, after 4months, 22 days!!!!!!!!

GOT THE REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS ON GC, AND PERMANENT GC APPROVAL-20 NOV, 2012

GOT PERMANENT GC ON 26TH NOV, 2012

AND THE LIFE GOES ON, BEAUTIFULLY... :)
